Colaborrative on-line, serial, cause-sometimes-writing-without-consequences-can-take-the-presure-off-and-allow-the-writing-that-we-want-to-occur….er, occur!

…so a new blog writer starts out with great ambition to take the blogosphere by storm and is met with decent initial acceptance and readship, until stumbling across a seemingly random connection between a (very, very) successful blog that writes Posts about people dying in unusual ways…before they actually die.

Based on a true observation, this story has:

  • protagonist  the new blogger
  • protagonist (tragic figure)  old, once successful now turning their back on the blogosphere
  • the new chattering class of blog-fans who submit their suggestion for spectacular ways for people to die
  • a self-publishing blog  devil-ex machina
  • a dog
  • two bffs

    1. can I send you an invite (author privilege)?
I need to complete the Prologue and (maybe) the first chapter and then… see what happens.
(I'm thinking I need to create enough of a structure to the story that people are able see characters and plot potentials enough to be comfortable creating whatever seems to be fun)

  2. Thanks for posting a wonderful comment on my blog Clark . It looks as if you need to pick up your own blog again and revive it ...
Did you get anywhere with the book idea ???

I find I'm not hungry and determined enough to write a book. Plus I've no imagination.
    Anyway...
